Welcome to my latest time-lapse video, where I take you through the entire workflow of 3D product modeling and rendering. In this video, I'll be showing you how I created a highly detailed 3D model of a shampoo bottle, specifically the Vanart shampoo bottle. From start to finish, I'll be using Autodesk 3ds Max 2016 for modeling and KeyShot 6 for rendering.
The video starts off with a blank canvas and I go through the process of creating the base mesh for the shampoo bottle. I pay close attention to every detail, ensuring accuracy and realism in every aspect of the model. From creating the initial base mesh to adding fine details such as textures and materials, I take you through the entire process step by step.
As the video progresses, you'll see me use a variety of tools and techniques to model the shampoo bottle. I'll also be using a few tricks and shortcuts to speed up the modeling process, making it more efficient and less time-consuming. This is what I call 'product speed modeling' which is a great technique to keep in mind when modeling any product.
Once the modeling is complete, I then take the model and import it into KeyShot 6, one of the most powerful rendering software available. Here I use various lighting and material settings to create a beautiful, photo-realistic render that accurately portrays the materials, lighting, and reflections of the product. This will give you an idea of what the final product will look like once it is manufactured.
I understand that everyone has a different learning style and that's why I have included voice-over narration to guide you through the process. This will help you understand the tools and techniques used in the video and make it easier to follow along.
