Today we have an basic and easy homemade Madeleine recipe! This is a follow up to my chocolate Madeleine recipe. The good new is that it is just as simple and just as good! Like last time, it has been a busy few months for me which has left with no time to bake! That's why I love simple and quick recipes like this one. There are nothing particularly special or complex about this recipe, it is just a well balanced and delicious recipe which also happens to be very delicious.

This recipe is enough to make apporximately 16 medium sized madeleines

3 eggs
125g / 0.66 cups caster sugar
5ml  / 1 tsp vanilla extract
110g / 1 cup all purpose flour
15g / 0.125 cups almond powder
5g / 1tsp baking powder
1.25g / 0.25 tsp salt
60g /  0.5 sticks melted butter
5g / 1 tsp icing sugar
