Subscribe for everything RC! in this episode we are calibrating the @HOBBYWINGOfficial Max5g2 esc. ran into some problems..... I will address them here.
1. Servo goes into channel 1
2. esc goes into channel 2
3. black wire goes to the right if you are looking at the receiver and reading the text the right way.
4. If you can't get calibrated, do the servo test. put servo into channel 2 and esc into batt channel or bind channel. servo should move in relation to the amount of forward and reverse. If it doesn't, you've fried your throttle channel and need a new receiver.
5. in the case of the XRT at least. If forward is reverse and vice versa, forward has a little power and reverse has a ton, don't bother switching orientations on your transmitter and recalibrating... you need to reverse the motor rotation in the ESC! this requires a Hobbywing program card, OTA programmer or something of that sort.
You're all set! I worked out all the problems for you. Now go RIP!
