Easy job with some basic tools and low investment. It’ll take less time than taking it to a shop, and will cost about the same or a little less. I always use the best synthetic oil I can get to make a car last as long as possible – consider paying the upcharge for full synthetic and high mileage (if you’re over 75k) when you’re buying at the parts store.
