We put 150ml's of both soil and Mineral Magic in respective containers and apply 100ml's of water to see how much of that water each medium can absorb.

Unfortunately most soils are naturally hydrophobic and you see the scientific stated figures of 12% are very accurate in this case. The rest of it (88% !) either evaporates into the atmosphere or just drains through the soil and lost. (Or runs down the street as most of you will have witnessed )

The Mineral Magic on the other hand absorbs 100% of the water and stores it for when it is needed along with the nutrients that you have supplied via a fertiliser.

The best part is that this mineral is a PERMANENT amendment. It is a mineral that does NOT breakdown. Once you have achieved the 500gm/m2 in your soil - that's it ! A lifetime treatment.
