This unedited surgical video demonstrates the stop and chop technique of phacoemulsification for managing a hard cataract. The phacoemulsification is performed in the bag. Trypan blue is used to stain the anterior capsule for capsulorrhexis. The anterior chamber is well maintained throughout phacoemulsification of the nucleus.(note the two air bubbles in AC which were maintained in position.. indicating lack of turbulence in AC)
