Without exaggeration, the worst amusement park accident in history was Space Journey at Knight Valley. A ride unfamiliar to many but continues to hold the record for the highest body count on any attraction since 2010. Claiming a total of 6 victims when the ride vehicle impacted the ground after falling 39 ft. Along with a sudden fire that could've ended the lives of 48 guests. However, to be clear this is not a roller coaster. Rather an enclosed carnival ride. Still, the events that transpired will haunt the complex for decades as nothing worse will even come close.
