Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was received at state house on his first state visit to the country, for talks aimed at boosting cooperation between the two countries.
Both countries pledged to remove double taxation on imports to enhance trade.
The bilateral talks between Kenya and Egypt also focused on security co-operation to tackle violent extremism and how best to share the nile waters among nile basin countries.
