One of the cool things to do in Kazbegi (now known as Stepantsminda) is to go to the Pansheti natural swimming pool. This is a natural mineral spring out in the wild and it is pretty awesome! It looks like a natural infinity pool with the incredible views of the Georgian Caucuses mountains in the distance.
To get to the pool, you have to hike for about 20 - 25 minutes from the town of Kazbegi. You can also drive there, but you have to go off-road. I decided to take a little dip as the mineral waters are rumored to have healing properties. The water was a bit cold to be honest, but it was an awesome experience!
