Was going through the archives and found this gem. This was my last time seeing Iron Maiden as I thought after it was over - I'll keep this one as the last best memory of a legendary band in their prime.
The show was shot by a guy going by White Wing Music. I ran into him at a Van Halen show previous month in Reno. When I left to get a beer and returned to my seat. My g/f at the time said - "You gotta talk to this guy sitting next to you" I do? Why? "He has a camcorder and going to record the show, I told him you used to do the same thing in the 90s" No shit???? What are the odds?? So I introduce myself and he said he knew about me from the tapers circles. So we chatted up talking about shows, taping techniques, etc. I suggested to let me be your security watch so you can get the show hassle free, I know what to look for and will tap your leg in case you need to duck. We exchange info and few months later I get a package from him with the VH, Maiden and many many more shows he shot over the years in California.
If you're reading this Mr. White Wing Music, thanks again for the package of concert goodies.
