#Biometric details will have to be given to get SIM
If you buy a SIM after December 31, 2023, you will have to provide your biometric details. From the new year, all telecom companies will #compulsorilyimplement this rule. The #TelecomDepartment issued a notification giving this information. According to the new rules, e-KYC of customers will be #mandatory. Apart from this, the rest of the rules for new mobile connections will remain the same. Ending paper-based KYC will save both time and paper.
