Breast Implant Illness Survivor (since 1992) Laura Bowden is a “Pioneer” for BII. In 1995, she appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, sharing her journey, and confronting the CEO of Dow Corning. Since then, she has appeared on Jenny Jones and local Chicago news stations to advocate for women's health and wellness. She had the honor to speak at the FDA in March of 2019, regarding the dangers of breast implants, with 80 incredible BII Advocates.
