The C clamp is a type of pliers that can hold an object firmly, so that it doesn't move, just like a vise.

C clamps come in different sizes, such as, 4 inch, 5 inch, 6 inch, 11 inch, 14 inch, 18 inch, etc, and the grip of all of them can be adjusted by a bolt located in the handle.

Once you sqeeeze the pliers the object is locked in, and it can't be moved.

The locking C clamp pliers I am testing in this video is 11 inches (27cm). It can be used successfully in welding, woodworking, and just everyday stuff.
