Today, June 16, 2023, I witnessed a racist road rage incident in Salem, Massachusetts. The racist offenders vehicle is a gray in color Ford Super Duty Pick Up truck with flood lights on the back. The incident unfolded at the intersection of New Derby Street and Washington Street. I was able to get some body cam and iPhone video. 

Backstory: I was driving down Norman Street in Salem, heading toward the intersection of New Derby Street and Washington Street, when I noticed the lady driving behind me had blocked the intersection even though there are signs indicating not to do so. Suddenly a gray Ford Super Duty Pick Up Truck that was driving on Norman in the same direction as me and this woman, speeds into the intersection and stops parallel to the ladies car. The racist behind the wheel of a Ford Super Duty Pick Up Truck started to verbally assault his now victim with rants that included a racist slur used by racist towards black people and people of color such as myself. At that point I activated my body cam and pointed it toward my rear windshield. My thought was I wanted to capture any physical assault that may happen in order to aid this lady in the event she called police. The BOLO went out moments later, however, I’m not sure if Salem Police made contact with the racist offenders vehicle. If you see this guy driving or walking the streets it’s best to avoid him as it’s clear he is suffering. Again, avoid this driver at all cost when traveling around MA6 and beyond.
