In a latest development of the misuse of SC/ST funds by the Karnataka Congress Government, the opposition party BJP stirs trouble, calling the diversion of funds for the welfare of the dalit community as "misappropriation."
Alleged scams and corruption charges have become synonymous with the Congress Government in Karnataka. After the MUDA , Valmiki Corporation scandal, it's the diversion of SC/ST funds towards Congress Guarantees that now haunts them.
The BJP has now planned to appeal to the judiciary and the Dalit Sangharsh Samiti (DSS), Congress' ally, is set to take to the streets in protest. BJP state cadre have accused the Congress of looting the money meant for the marginalised community.
