Today I put my detective hat on, and investigate why the Glossop Public Footpath no.81, which is clearly marked on official maps and is still supposedly active, has been covered over, blocked, and the public denied access to.

I speak with a manager from Glossop Caravans, whose land the public footpath runs through.

As this video goes online, it is not clear how or when the footpath came to be blocked, or by who. Regardless, the authorities need encouraging to work on restoring it.

Details below for anyone who wishes to take part in an effort to get the Glossop Public Footpath 81 restored for the public to use and enjoy.
The path as mapped is located between Glossop Caravans 132 Wooley Bridge, and the former Travis Perkins 130 Wooley Bridge.
