President of the Eurogroup and Ireland’s Minister of Finance Paschal Donohoe T.D. and Governor of Latvijas Banka and Member of the ECB Governing Council Mārtiņš Kazāks discuss the current and long-term economic challenges and opportunities for Latvia and the euro area as a whole, the preconditions for maintaining Europe's role in the world, including sustainability issues; as well as the interaction between monetary and fiscal policies. The discussion is moderated by journalist and Riga Stradiņš university associate professor Edijs Bošs. The event is organised jointly by the Embassy of Ireland in Latvia and the European Commission Representation in Latvia.
