SPEAKING OF SUPPRESSING SYMPTOMS...
.
I'm not here to fear monger in any way
.
I do not believe that medications are inherently toxic or bad
.
There can be a time + place for them depending on your symptoms + quality of life
.
And I used #topicalsteriods when I dealing with #dyshidroticeczema
.
But as a quick continuation of yesterday's post, steroids are one of the go to options for #skinrashes which suppress inflammation
.
That said, I believe in making choices about your care that involve knowing the pros + cons
.
I was never made aware of the side effects of TS when they were prescribed to me with no caution about how much + how long to use them (except from my MD father who warned me to use them sparingly)
.
So again... Another sign that skin rashes have a significant inflammatory component, but also with a potential downside (as all meds have)
.
If these possible side effects concern u especially if u have used them for a long time or are using a high potency, talk to your doctor
