Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega is on course to win a third consecutive term in a vote that the opposition called a farce.
Ortega, whose wife is his running mate, has been accused of trying to set up a family dictatorship.
A group of opposition parties are crying foul and demanding a new election supervised by international observers.
