Today we've got one of the coolest products we've seen on the market - The Battista pipe from Deathcache pipe products, you can check them out at www.Deathcache.com. Its unlike any other pipe we've seen or used. It's called a Battista or a "Bat" - shaped kind of like a baseball bat. Its branded with the Deathcache logo, and its got a lot of weight to it -super durable. You just unscrew the top and put your product inside and screw it back in. And the pipe also comes with a handy cleaner, which is great.
What we loved about the Battista is that it was a surprisingly smooth smoke. Its as small as a Chillum and sometimes those can be a bit harsh but not with the battista, it doesn't get too hot at all and because it has a cap, it just extinguishes itself once you've finished smoking. So its a smooth smoke, self extinguishes, and its small and portable.
So a lot of smokers have issues with fragile downstems, its just a piece that frequently gets abused on a water pipe. My favorite feature is that the Battista actually doubles as a downstem in most any water pipe. You just pop a rubber O-ring on the pipe and slide it in, boom instant downstem. Love it.
This product was really great, definitely a useful, durable, and simple pipe that you can carry discreetly, and that added utility of being a downstem just really knocks it out of the park for us.
