The Fiscal Year 2023 Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Program includes a new Building Code Plus-Up set aside that provides additional federal funding to advance life safety and energy codes for hazard mitigation and increased building resilience. This webinar featured presentations from the Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation Office of Energy Programs , the FEMA BRIC Technical Program, and the International Code Council on best practices, pitfalls, and resources for leveraging BRIC funds for code improvement and other resilience activities.
