All artists at some point in their career believe it's time to get a manager but that can end up being a catastrophic decision as you sign away a large proportion of your royalties based on false promises.

You need to make sure that the person or company are right to manage you and are offering you something that you aren't able to do on your own. Sometimes managers can actually prevent you from succeeding if you choose the wrong option.
