Before first cutting, we rented a Bobcat E32 Mini Excavator to dig a 200 foot long trench behind the hay barn to prevent the water from running off into the barn. We had to cut some trees down and dug up their stumps so we could cut out a road to pull wagons and equipment around the building.

We also used Ross's (from Franklin County Forage) Gehl 6635 DXT Skid Steer.
