I was recently sent various old footage taken at Alton Towers in Staffordshire from someone I know who wanted some of it putting up online for others to see. This is part of that collection.

Description:

A Midlands Today TV report on Alton Towers' new area for 1999, Ug Land! It was one of the most loved areas of the park and home to the iconic Corkscrew.The area was eventually rethemed for the 2010 season to accommodate Th13teen, Corkscrew's replacement.
