Another year has almost gone
We’ll be glad to see it pass
Full of worry, sadness, tears and pain
But there’s some hope at last
For we have moved in common cause
By the memory of a hug
And we shall know it once again
Wrapped in the arms of love
The months ahead may carry
All the grief you feel inside
But we’ll shoulder it all together
There’s no need to hide
To hear these words or speak them
We are the lucky sum
So smile with thanks from in your heart
