When the Triple 7X took to the skies for the first time on the 25th of January, 2020, there was a broad sense of optimism from Boeing and airlines alike. The latest series of triple 7x twin-engine jetliners, which consist of the triple 7-9 and triple 7-8, had the potential to become an instant success.
However, three years, a pandemic and multiple delays later and only the -9 seems to have a defined future.
The dash-8 on the other hand has been struggling and can’t seem to get off the ground – literally and figuratively.
In fact it looks so bad that Airlines are starting to swap the dash-8 for its bigger brother the dash-9.
So what is going with the Dash-8?
