Patients in England need patience. The waiting list for routine hospital treatment just keeps growing
It reached a new record high at the end of June at around 7.6 million
Over 383 thousand of those have been waiting more than a year. Which is down a little from last month.
And while many are waiting, tens of thousands of patients are seen every single day in hospitals which are being stretched to the limit. Julian Druker has been to a hospital in Salisbury to see how they are dealing with the pressure.
