The current aviation mentality of Pilot, Airframe and Engine (PEA) is not enough to effect safe aviation:

PEA lacks the HUMILITY to admit that there must be other options than crashing when flight fails...Recovery Parachutes (RPs) are the first step we must FAA mandate into ALL small planes.
Ask all the relatives of the dead whose loved ones burned up after a small plane crashed into their house...flying a plane without a RP is socially irresponsible and selfish. Its not just you who is going to die in your small plane. Ask the South Korean man who lost his entire family when a dumbass marine pilot ejected and his crap F-18 crashed into his house....if we would start doing RPs for small planes as we get better at it, larger and larger planes will have RPs to include our costly fighter-bombers:
