Recently pubg has added the tier feature and because of that we are unable to join our friends
but we can still be together

We connected a call in the background and started match together and you will be shocked that I and my friend were in the same match as teammate not all time but some time as opponents
so why we cannot join our friends directly although we can join indirectly. Why?
