I have somehow managed to go for almost five years without ever trying out different focal lengths for my medium format photography! How has that happened?? I have no idea.
The standard focal lengths for medium format are usually between 75mm and 90mm. This is roughly a 50mm equivalent on 35mm film, what's considered "standard" focal length not wide angle, not telephoto.
Well, I have finally managed to get my hands on some more lenses for the Bronica S2A. I'm now the proud owner of a 50mm, a 75mm and a 150mm (35mm equivalents are about 28mm, 50mm and 90mm).
So I took all three out for a shoot with the awesome Ashely Robson - www.ashleyrobson.com - and tested them all to see which I like best!
Spoiler alert - I frikkin love a wide angle lens....
