During this four-day, one-credit class (you must attend all four days) we will explore the role of touch to a person’s health, the importance of self-care and body mechanics for massage therapists, and the role touch modalities have when treating chronic pain conditions. Standard course tuition and fees apply based on residency.
Massage therapy is the study of the interrelationship of body, mind, and spirit. Massage therapists apply skillful touch modalities to the muscular structures of the human body, effectively
relieving pain and restoring function. Massage therapists benefit from knowing that they make a difference in the lives of others, and enjoy high level of autonomy in their employment.
The massage therapy program at ACM provides a two-year associate degree, and students are able to get their clinical hours right here on campus. As this is an introductory class, ANYONE WITH AN INTEREST IS WELCOME TO REGISTER. The regular program program application is NOT required (ACM general admissions application must be completed).
