The LG Magnit is a massive 163" Micro LED TV that was just announced. How will this compare to OLED Displays that are currently available? In this video I dive into the prices and performance offered from Micro LED TVs and OLED TVs, as well as when we can expect to see Micro LEDs available to regular consumers. If you're scared of burn in on your OLED display then you may need to just bite the bullet because we likely won't see smaller Micro LED televisions available for quite some time.
This giant commercial display, the LG Magnit, is made up of many smaller display boards (LG LSAB009), which have a resolution of 640x360. The pixel pitch of 0.9mm is currently too big to efficiently manufacture these Micro LED TVs, so it will likely be 5-10 years before we see these at your local Best Buy. This TV does feature LGs new black coating which is anti-glare and anti-fingerprint, as well as LG's WebOS Smart TV platform, and HDR capabilities.
