Focus on the centre of the mandala for 90 seconds at a time, until the cognitive brain is comfortable to handle more. DO NOT GO TOO FAST. The brain takes time to be trained.
'Ekaggatā' is a Pali Buddhist term, defined as tranquility of mind. This mental factor is the primary component in all jhānas and the essence of concentration or samādhi. One-pointedness temporarily inhibits sensual desire, a necessary condition for any meditative attainment. It is also one of the 7 Universals.
