How we improve our axial piston pump efficiency ?
By using simulation tools.

Poclain enhances axial piston pump efficiency using the Multics CASPAR simulation tool. For electrifying its compactors, Poclain replaces thermal engines with electric motors and batteries, aiming to optimize system autonomy and overall efficiency.

In collaboration with the MAHA Fluid Power Research Center, Poclain uses Multics CASPAR to predict pump efficiency under various operating conditions. This tool helps minimize power losses by optimizing pump tolerances and clearances, enabling Poclain to design more efficient pumps and support the transition to a zero-emission era.
