The beautifully restored 1898 steam launch Nuneham, operated since 1983 by French Brothers of Windsor, England, heads home to Runnymede after its last day of public sailings (rather than private charters) for 2023.
It has the coal-fired steam engine from sister Salters ship ‘Oxford’ powering it, this installed during the complete restoration and rebuilding of Nuneham taken place in 1997.
With thanks to Mark Graves for filming this whilst I captured still photos of this magnificent launch (see my Flickr site under tag ‘Nuneham’).
