PNG Trade Union Congress General Secretary, John Paska, has issued a strong statement condemning the political demonstration in Mendi.
Comparing it to the Bouganville crisis, he said it was totally unjustifiable and barbaric.
He has also made various calls on the government to address the issue, starting by holding those responsible accountable, including the politicians in question.
