Looking for a cheaper alternative to the Galapagos Islands? We took a trip to the Paracas National Reserve in Peru and a boat trip to the nearby Ballestas Islands, also known as 'the poor man's Galapagos' where we saw stunning wildlife, birds, sealions and desert scenery. Here's how we visited and how much it cost.
