These No Bake Crispy Bars with Nutella are the super duper yummy dessert! They are a real treat for chocolate lovers!
Makes 10 to 12, depending on size
INGREDIENTS
Bars:
6 cups crispy rice cereal
4 cups miniature marshmallows or about 40 regular marshmallows
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup Nutella
Ganache:
1 cup Nutella
1 cup dark chocolate, finely chopped
Almonds oven roasted, chopped for decorating
PREPARATION
1. Make the Nutella Crispy Bars. Melt butter over low heat in a large saucepan. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add Nutella. Mix well. Then add Crispy Rice Cereal, one cup at a time, stirring until well coated.
2. Press mixture into a pan coated with butter. Use a buttered spatula or buttered wax paper to prevent sticking while pressing mixture down. Set aside.
3. Make the Ganache. Melt chocolate in top of double boiler or in microwave safe bowl. Add Nutella. Stir until smooth and scrape on top of bars and use a small offset spatula to spread evenly. While still moist, sprinkle chopped oven roasted almonds (optional) on top.
4. Refrigerate briefly until ganache firms, about 15 minutes. Cut into squares. Best served the same day but may be stored in airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
