In a battle of a 9 vs 8-year-old, Aahil Patra (1105) was completely winning against Sayan Barua in the final round of West Bengal State Under-10 Boys. In excitement, instead of promoting his own queen, Aahil almost picked his opponent's queen before realizing he was playing with the white pieces. Then he promoted his own queen and another to win the game.
Check out alternate or rolling technique to checkmate with two queens. There are various ways to checkmate with two queens but this is certainly the best and safest way to checkmate if you are down to your final seconds on the clock.
