I recorded a video of this song on electric guitar a few years ago and completely rushed it. Now here's the acoustic version - I was listening to the vocal track in my headphones so I think my timing is a bit better and I was trying to capture the feelings it evokes. In my opinion, a really beautiful piece of music, Don McLean and Chet Atkins are just fantastic artists. Some mistakes here and there, my acoustic playing still leaves a lot to be desired but I think it's serviceable.
