Quick and easy tutorial on how to fix audio drift that happens after you sync your separate audio recording with your camera footage and sound.
Tutorial was done in Premiere Pro but it will work in any editing software.
This is a common problem unless you have top of the line equipment (and even then it can still happen), audio recording is controlled by quartz crystals that are accurate to about 2 to 20 parts per million, if you work in 30fps and that's 180,000 frames an hour which would give you at least 2 frames out of sync (it is often more).
I've seen plenty of different ways to go about fixing this that involve cutting up the audio which is just a pain and this ends up working a lot quicker for me.
