Hi.. I am sharing this recipe na inspired from lumang recipe ng mama ko, hindi pa uso ang Youtube noon, ginagawa ng palaman ng mama ko sa cake ang Yema spread nya, pero may ground peanut ngalang ang sa kanya, without cheese at without ube.
*Sa Recipe na 'to naka gawa po ako ng 5 large llaneras of cake kasama ang frosting. 💜💛
~Dry Ingredients In separate bowl.
1 1/4 Cup Cake flour
1/2 Tbsp. Baking powder
1/2 Tsp. Salt
~Wet Ingredients In a separate bowl.
4 Large Egg yolks
1/4 Cup sunflower oil or substitute with vegetable oil
1 Cup Pineapple juice (Unsweetened)
1/2 Cup Sugar
~Merengue
6 Large Egg whites
1/2 tsp COT
1/8 Cup Sugar
SHINY & STABLE UBE-YEMA FROSTING
4 Large Egg yolks
1 can Evaporated milk or Full cream milk
1 can Liberty Condensed Milk
(I used full cream milk here po, naubosan ako ng Evaporated milk)
*Please follow the instructions in the video for pipe able-bodied (😁) Ube-Yema frosting.
*Wag patayin ang apoy hanggat hindi matapos iluto pareho ang Yema-ube frosting.
*Salain ang cornstarch bago ihalo or ihalo ang cornstarch sa Evaporated milk bago ihalo sa kalan para hindi ito magbuo buo.
*Haluin muna ng maigi sa kalan bago paandarin ang apoy.
*haluin ng maigi ang Egg yolks bago ihalo ang iab pang mga sangkap. Dagdagan ng Clear Vanilla extract pag natunaw o naghalo na ang Egg yolks.
*Completely cool first pareho si Cake at frosting bago mamggigil magpaganda ng cake.
*Hayaang naka singaw habang pinapalamig pareho lalo na si frosting para hindi mag amoy itlog😅

Ground peanuts (from Original recipe - na optional nalang ngayon😂
Cheddar Cheese (the one i did)
Fresh fruits (Optional)
Nga pala... ⚠️⚠️⚠️TOOTHPICK TEST po yon 😂😭 hindi TOOTHPICK TASTE, warning...
wag tikman ang totpik para malaman ang lasa nito ha🤣
