Spend a few minutes with us to learn about the interesting history behind trapper cabins which dotted remote areas of the southern Idaho desert landscape in the 1940s. Most of these cabins have been lost to wildfire over the years, so to protect this piece of the historic American West, the Shoshone Bureau of Land Management set out to stabilize the only remaining trapper cabin in the Craters of the Moon National Monument.
