Okay, so it appears that the ending credits song wasn't the only thing Daiki Kasho did for Gran Turismo Sport. In the December update, in response to criticism of a lack of a dedicated career mode, the GT League mode was added, featuring fan-favorite races and events from previous GT games. The multiplayer Sport Mode was also updated with a different result screen, focusing on you instead of the winner.
These new jingles will play when you finish a race in either of these modes, depending on your position. Being in last place or lower tier will trigger the first tune, in the middle to 4th will trigger the second, and being in the top three will play the rest, respectively.
Like the ending credits song, there is no doubt that Daiki Kasho did all of these, since he has a distinct, melodic style that stands out from the rest of the GT composers. Still, though, I'm disappointed that he didn't do any new full-length songs.
Once again, time will only tell if he'll do new stuff through updates or until a full-fledged GT7 releases.
