The Princess of Wales and her daughter, Princess Charlotte, are both dressed in monochrome for Trooping the Colour. According to the expert, the gowns represent the duo's bond.
Princess Kate is dressed in Jenny Packham's white monochromatic suit with black accent. She wore it with a matching cap and pearl cluster earrings, which she previously wore.
Princess Charlotte wore a lovely navy-and-white sailor-style outfit with a white bow in her hair.
Lynne McKenna, a royal fashion specialist, believes the similarities between the two costumes are significant.
"Kate Middleton's return to royal duties in a Jenny Packham dress with black trim is a masterclass in chic monochrome elegance," Lynne told OK! magazine.
"The streamlined cut of her dress, accented with a statement bow, perfectly complements her signature silhouette." Her outfit, complete with a matching cap and modest jewelry, is evocative of her magnificent appearance for the Platinum Jubilee in 2022," she continued.
"Princess Charlotte's navy and white monochrome outfit perfectly complements Kate's subtle yet striking look, bringing their styling together beautifully for their first appearance since Kate's diagnosis," she said about Charlotte's gown.
"The coordinated ensembles highlight their close bond and shared sense of fashion, making a powerful statement in their return to public life," Lynne said.
