This is definitely a great tool for artists who love the iPad but also want to use it with their desktop software. It's a far better option than something like Sidecar or Duet Display both in terms of responsiveness and features.
Blender on the iPad will work well for both modeling and sculpting. Astropad is working to improve Blender support at the moment too. Painting in Photoshop on the iPad was smooth as well!
