It's just another Monday night of deep-sky astrophotography in the backyard, or is it? In this video, I use a large APO refractor telescope and a cooled color camera to capture the glorious Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888) in Cygnus.
The final image includes 9.5 hours of data in narrowband Ha + OIII (Duo-Narrowband Filter)
I also blended 2.5 hours of Broadband RGB data for more natural-looking star colors.
