We are beginning another new lesson this week looking for a Biblical answer to the question, what happened to Enoch? We will look at what the scriptures have to say about Enoch and compare that to what preachers are saying happened to Enoch. This is another topic of study that many people have questions about, or they just adopt what they have been told by others. We feel this study will help give Biblical answers to this question. We hope you enjoy these studies, it's always an eye opener, when you compare what man is saying alongside what God says in His word. Let God be true and every man a liar. We all need to be more like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, who received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. No other person is accountable for your destiny, except you. You will be held to account for your own choices and the life that you live here in the body. Are you going to take someone else's word about the Truth of scripture or are you going to search the matter out for yourself? Jesus said, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." (John 17:17) That the Spirit of Truth will guide you into all Truth (John 16:13). For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14) Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7) If you are not willing to first listen, and then study, to prove for yourself what sayeth the scriptures, you create in yourself the inability to grow. Truth will always bring you to the crossroads of decision, are you willing to follow the Truth, even if you have to leave the comfort of familiar traditions behind? Are you willing to lay aside man-made doctrines and the confusion it produces, and allow the Word of God to speak freely into your heart? Get your Bible out and study along!
