WELDING
Welding is a fabrication process whereby two or more parts are fused together by means of heat, pressure or both forming a join as the parts cool. Welding is usually used on metals and thermoplastics but can also be used on wood. The completed welded joint may be referred to as a weldment.
Stick Welding
Stick Welding is one of the most widely used welding processes. It is a manual welding process that employs electric arc that formed when the electrode maintains a contact with base metal as its source of heat to melt the consumable electrode and its protective flux shielding along with the base metal. It is known to have many names, like stick welding, manual metal arc (MMA), and flux shielded arc welding. It is also considered to be the most versatile welding process and the one that requires the least complex set-up compared to another process.
