The kingdoms of Israel and Judah were stuck in wickedness and idolotry for many years. Then along came king Hezekiah. He sought to set things right. His son Mannaseh was wicked and brought back idol worship but his son Josiah found the book of the law written by Moses and got the people to covenant to obey Jehovah again.
